How does this differ from Einstein's special relativity?

The predictions are meant to match: the model claims to recover the same Lorentz factor, time dilation, and speed limit as textbook special relativity. The proposed difference is in origin, not formulas. Einstein starts from postulates about light and inertial frames, whereas here those facts are argued to emerge from slicing a single causal graph at different tilts, with the speed limit set by how fast cause-and-effect can propagate. This emergence is a model-internal claim, not independently confirmed physics.
