Has the rule for our universe been found?
No. The project's bet is that one specific simple rule (or a particular way of combining rules) could generate our universe, but no such rule has been identified, and there is no confirmed way to single it out. [conjecture] Part of Wolfram's later thinking even questions whether a unique rule should be expected at all, suggesting our universe might instead correspond to sampling many rules at once. For now, picking rules to grow suggestive structures is illustrative exploration, not a derivation of the actual laws of physics.
